Azerbaijan, Iran discuss co-op in oil and gas sector

A delegation led by the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Chair of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Affairs between Azerbaijan and Iran Shahin Mustafayev has visited Tehran.
During the visit, Shahin Mustafayev met with Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji on November 21.
At the meeting, the sides noted that the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in the oil and gas sector is mutually beneficial and fruitful.
The officials discussed the implementation of current agreements in the gas exchange field and considered it practical to continue the work carried out in this framework.
At the same time, it was noted that there is a great potential for cooperation. Valuable discussions were held on deepening cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
