Azerbaijan defence minister discusses cooperation with Turkish counterpart

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defence Zakir Hasanov has today met Turkish counterpart Ismet Yilmaz to explore ways of developing military cooperation, News.az reports.

Hasanov hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, calling them “friendly and brotherly”.The Turkish Minister stressed the importance of bilateral meetings in terms of strengthening Azerbaijan-Turkey relations.The ministers also discussed regional situation and issues of mutual interest.Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismayil Alper Cosgun was present at the meeting.Bakudaily.Az
