Azerbaijan imports $900M worth of goods from Türkiye in 5 months

In January-May 2024, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $888.36 million from Türkiye, 2.8% less year-on-year (YoY), reported from the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

In the first five months, Türkiye’s exports to Azerbaijan made up 1% of total exports.

During the reporting period, the value of Türkiye's total exports increased by 3.2% YoY to $92.54 billion.

The largest importer of Turkish goods was Germany ($7.638 billion; 2.9% less YoY), followed by the US ($5.4 billion; 9% more YoY), Italy ($4.97 billion; 7.7% more YoY) and the UK ($4.94 billion; 7.3% more YoY).

In May alone, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $193.7 million from Türkiye, which is 7.7% more YoY. Türkiye's monthly exports to Azerbaijan made up 0.9% of its total exports.
