Commercial gas production in Azerbaijan up by over 5%

In January-June 2024, 25.079 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan, reported from the country’s State Statistics Committee.

The share of commodity natural gas exceeded 19.14 billion cubic meters.

During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 3.4%, while commodity gas production went up by 5.3%.

In January-June 2024, 14.45 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, were produced in Azerbaijan. The share of commodity crude oil was 14.42 million tons.

During the reporting period, the volumes of oil production and commodity oil were 4.9% lower than in the first 6 months of 2023.
