Armenian media: Macron may visit Yerevan in September

French President Emmanuel Macron may visit Armenia on September 21 - the country's Independence Day.

According to the information , which cites the Zhoghovurd newspaper, back in 2021, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, following talks with the French leader in Paris, stated that he was expecting Macron in Yerevan on September 21 of the same year. However, the visit never took place.

The last time the French President visited Armenia was in October 2018, when he participated in the Francophonie summit.
