Iranian MFA: UN Security Council is inactive

The UN Security Council is inactive, Nasser Kanaani, spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said at a briefing.

Kanaani attributed the current Middle East tensions to the inaction of the international community and specifically blamed the US for the region’s instability.

He also highlighted that Tehran supports any goodwill measures aimed at reconciling the warring parties.
