Russian intelligence claims that US plans ‘Color Revolution’ in Georgia
26.08.2024 17:00
The United States is highly dissatisfied with the current situation in Georgia ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26 and preparing a "Color Revolution” in the country, according to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS)

The plan reportedly includes publishing "evidence of fraud” during the voting process declaring the election results invalid, and demanding a change in government.

The information also suggests that the Georgian law enforcement agencies will be provoked to use force against the protests.

Additionally, the US is said to be planning to significantly increase pressure on Georgian authorities to weaken the electoral position of the ruling "Georgian Dream” party as much as possible.
