Zakharova: Despite statements, Armenia still part of CSTO with its rights, commitments

Armenia, de jure, remains a full member of the CSTO with its rights and commitments, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing. 

She noted that Armenia adheres to the position of "withdrawal" of interaction with the organization. 

"In our opinion, this is contrary to the interests of the Armenian people. We expect that in the interests of the security of Armenia itself and, in general, the entire region, our full partnership will be resumed," she added.
