Pashinyan: Armenia must establish diplomatic relations, open land border with Türkiye

Armenia should establish diplomatic relations with Türkiye, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the World Armenian Summit, reported from Armenian media.

"I think we should establish diplomatic relations with Türkiye and open the land border," he said. 

Pashinyan called it important that there is communication between Yerevan and Ankara, and noted that it is necessary to continue negotiations between the special representatives of the two countries. Since the end of 2021, Yerevan and Ankara have begun negotiations on normalizing relations.
