Pentagon: No US support for Israel's ground operations in Lebanon and Gaza

The United States will not support Israeli ground offensive operations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said in a press briefing, reported from the US Department of Defense.

"We're not going in and supporting offensive ground operations in what they do, whether it be in the north or in Gaza. And the President has been very clear that you're not going to have US boots on the ground in Gaza,” Singh noted.

She added, "And the President [Joe Biden] has been very clear that you're not going to have US boots on the ground in Gaza.”
