Germany to allocate 170M euros to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure
26.09.2024 16:27
Germany will allocate an additional 170 million euros to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure, official representative of the Cabinet of Ministers Steffen Hebestreitsaid, reported from TASS.

He claimed that as a result of the conflict, Ukrainian cities and infrastructure suffered serious damage.

"Therefore, Germany will provide an additional 170 million euros in the short term to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure," Hebestreit said.

He emphasized that the Bundestag agreed to increase funding for military support for Ukraine by approximately 400 million euros.

"This will allow us to purchase additional air defense systems, tanks, drones, ammunition and spare parts, which will effectively strengthen the Ukrainian armed forces," he added.
