Zakharova: Peace must be preserved in South Caucasus at all costs

Peace must be preserved in the South Caucasus at all costs, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova said that the Russian side welcomes those who are ready to help establish peace in the region and warned that Moscow will not tolerate the destructive influence of the West.

"This troubled region has gone through many conflicts, so the Russian side will be glad to see those who want to come here in peace to help and contribute. We have spent so much effort together to maintain peace in the region. We must do everything we can to prevent the West from using its policy of managed chaos," Zakharova noted.
