Azerbaijan increases non-oil and gas exports by 1%

In January-September 2024, the value of Azerbaijan's non-oil-gas sector exports increased by 1.3% compared to the same period last year, amounting to $2.5 billion, reported from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of the country.

The export value of Azerbaijan's food products increased by 13.3% over the past year, reaching $698.3 million.

During the reporting period, sugar and confectionery products increased by 83.3%, cotton fiber by 70.9%, vegetable oils and fats by 31.7%, chemical industry products by 20.9%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 11.6%, and processed fruit and vegetable products by 14.6%.

Over the past year, the export value of agro-industrial products increased by 60% to $233.4 million, while the combined export value of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 17.8% to $755.4 million.
