Orban: No one can deny that elections in Georgia democratic

No one can deny that the parliamentary elections in Georgia were conducted democratically, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told a press conference following talks with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi.

"The election results in Georgia are undeniable; they were free and democratic. There will still be debates in Europe, but this shouldn't be taken seriously. If liberals win, Brussels says there is democracy. If conservatives win, they say there is no democracy. This is normal," Orban emphasized.

The Hungarian prime minister congratulated the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party on their victory in the parliamentary elections.

According to the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC), at the elections held on October 26, the ruling party received 53.93% of the votes.
