Russian President Vladimir Putin, addressing the intelligence services of CIS countries, emphasized the inadmissibility of destabilizing the situation in the Commonwealth space, according to the president's greeting which was read by Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin.

"Today, in complex geopolitical conditions, your constructive interaction is especially important. It is necessary to prevent destabilization of the situation both in the CIS and in neighboring regions. To achieve this, as before, (we need to) identify any negative trends and potential threats to collective security, forecast their development, and exchange information and work experience," the greeting stated.
