Türkiye declares its readiness to support restoration of stability in Lebanon

Türkiye has declared its readiness to provide the necessary support for ensuring internal stability in Lebanon, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

"We welcome the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon and hope that the ceasefire will be permanent. The international community should pressure Israel to strictly comply with the ceasefire regime and compensate for the damage caused to Lebanon," the statement reads.

The Turkish MFA's statement also called for achieving a ceasefire in Gaza.
