No one can blackmail Georgia and threaten it with resolutions, says Kakha Kaladze

No one can blackmail Georgia and threaten it with resolutions, says Kakha Kaladze
29.11.2024 13:20
Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream Party Kakha Kaladze said they will not allow anyone to blackmail Georgia and threaten with resolutions.

Kaladze noted that negotiations with the EU have been halted, but it's unclear why this decision surprises some people.

"There are certain criteria for EU membership, but peace and economic development are needed to meet these criteria. We are ready to demonstrate different economic growth indicators by 2028 and become a full member of the EU in 2030. We are also ready for negotiations, but not through blackmail," said Kaladze.

He also called on all people to accept that Georgia is not just a territory but a country, and emphasized that everyone should respect the government's decisions, Georgian culture, and traditions.
