Switzerland says ready to mediate in Syria

Switzerland is ready to offer its services as a neutral mediator to the parties in Syria, Swiss Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pierre-Alain Eltschinger said,reported from foreign media.

"Switzerland is ready to offer its services if the interested parties make such a request. It calls on all parties to engage in dialogue and peaceful transition," he said.
