Sec.-Gen. of Council of Europe arrives in Georgia on visit

Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset is on an official visit to Georgia, Georgian Foreign Ministry said on December 18, reported from Georgian media. 

During the visit, Berset will meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, President-elect Mikheil Kavelashvili, and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili. 

The Secretary General's visit is the first among official representatives of European structures following the parliamentary elections in Georgia held in October. 

His visit will end on December 21.
