Putin expresses condolences over AZAL plane crash in Kazakhstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a phone call to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and expressed condolences in connection with the crash of the Azerbaijani passenger plane in Aktau, Russian leader's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said,  reported from Interfax.

"Unfortunately, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had to leave St. Petersburg. Putin has already called him and expressed condolences in connection with the crash of the Azerbaijani plane in Aktau," Peskov told journalists.

"We deeply condole with those who lost their relatives and friends in this air crash and wish a speedy recovery to those who managed to survive," Peskov added.
