Turkish transport ministry’s experts to join AZAL plane crash investigation

A delegation of specialists from Türkiye’s Transport and Infrastructure Ministry will participate in investigating the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) passenger plane crash near the Kazakh city of Aktau, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said, reported from TASS.

"At the request of the State Civil Aviation Authority of Azerbaijan we have set up an expert commission consisting of eight people for investigating into reasons of the crash, carrying out technical and exploitation expert examination, as well as providing necessary support. Our delegation will be working in coordination with Azerbaijan’s authorities <...> to explore all aspects of the incident within their competence," the minister said on his page on X social media.
