EU offers support support for Türkiye through EU Civil Protection Mechanism over hotel fire

The European Union (EU) has offered assistance to Türkiye through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism in connection with the fire that occurred at a hotel in the Bolu region, European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said on X.

"Currently in Türkiye, I feel very closely the sadness of the victims & their loved ones of the Bolu fire. I express my deepest condolences to Türkiye & to the families of the victims,” Lahbib said.

"The EU stands in solidarity & offers support through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism,” she concluded.
