Chairman of Georgian Dream: Biden administration was harmful to both US, Georgia

Georgia wants to reset relations, and renew strategic partnerships with the US from a clean slate, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said.

Kobakhidze expressed hope that the fight against the "deep state” will end with President Trump's victory, which will help ensure peace worldwide, in the region, and spread correct, healthy values instead of those actively spread globally over the past four years.

Mamuka Mdinaradze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream faction and Executive Secretary of the party, has assessed the Biden administration as the most harmful administration for both the US and Georgia:

"If he can defeat the 'deep state,' it will be much easier for Georgia to restore relations with its partners and strengthen cooperation again."

Tornike Cheishvili, the first deputy chairman of the Georgian Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee, believes that a new era in world politics is beginning after the inauguration of the 47th US president:

"There are many optimistic predictions that this era will bring peace.”
