Erdogan leads survey regarding potential presidential election in Türkiye

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is leading the survey regarding the potential presidential election in Türkiye, according to the results from the survey conducted by ASAL Research in 26 provinces of Türkiye.

In a survey conducted by ASAL Research with 1,800 participants in January, when asked, "If a presidential election were held this Sunday, whom would you like to see as President?" President Erdogan came in first with 26%, Mansur Yavas ranked second with 17.3%, while Ekrem Imamoglu came in third with 14%.

The list was followed by Hakan Fidan (8.1%), Ozgur Ozel (7.2%), Selcuk Bayraktar (5.9%), and Kemal Kilicdaroglu (1.7%). The remaining candidates, including Fatih Erbakan, Umit Ozdag, and others, received less than 2% of the votes.

About 11% of survey participants stated that they had difficulty answering or had no opinion on the matter.
