Gazprom starts gas supply to Slovakia via TurkStream

Russia has begun supplying gas to Slovakia through the TurkStream pipeline, Dennik N portal said, citing Vojtech Ferenc, head of SPP company, which is the operator of the gas transmission system.
According to Ferenc, Gazprom started supplying gas to SPP via TurkStream in February, and its volume will double from April.
The contract with Gazprom Export is valid until 2034.
The transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine was completely halted on January 1.
