French foreign minister rejects possibility of Russia's return to G7

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot rejected the possibility of Russia's return to G7 and its transformation into the G8 format, as previously proposed by US President Donald Trump, reported from LCI TV channel.

"Today this is unthinkable," said Barrot.

At the same time, the minister noted that if a fair peace is achieved in Ukraine, the possibility of Russia's return to this format cannot be ruled out.
