FOR THE FIRST TIME - "Green Loans" for Entrepreneurs from Bank Respublika

Clients who take out a "Green Loan" from Bank Respublika can receive up to 15% cashback.


Baku, February 19, 2025. Bank Respublika, which has always supported the development of the real sector of our country's economy, continues its innovative approach and, for the first time, offers entrepreneurs the "Green Loan" product.

This new financial instrument, offered under the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, a combined effort of the EU and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, designed to support environmentally sustainable projects and improve the energy efficiency of MSME businesses.

The maximum loan term is up to - 5 years, and the maximum loan amount is up to the equivalent of - 3 million euros (loans are provided in Azerbaijani manats).

The “Green Loan” offers entrepreneurs numerous unique benefits:
Up to 15% cashback: With the support of the European Union, a portion of the loan's principal amount is refunded, reducing the financial burden on entrepreneurs and making investments more cost-effective.
Simple and fast procedures: Minimal document requirements and quick processing ensure that loans are approved in a short time.
Energy efficiency: Operational costs are significantly reduced through the use of new technologies and equipment.
Environmental benefits: Transitioning to cleaner technologies contributes to environmental protection.

Entrepreneurs wishing to benefit from the “Green Loan” must meet the following requirements:
• Companies must be at least 51% privately owned.
• Entrepreneurs must be registered in Azerbaijan and operate in compliance with local legislation.
• The company must meet the requirements of partner financial institutions.

• The number of employees of the enterprise must be at less than 250 people.

The “Green Loan” can be applied in various sectors, including:
Agriculture: Implementation of modern technologies in traditional fields such as livestock, poultry farming, horticulture, and crop production.
Food production: Projects aimed at the processing and storage of fruits and vegetables, dairy products, tea, coffee, beer, wine, and bread production.
Industrial sectors: Production of cotton, textiles, rubber, plastic, glass, furniture, and other industrial products.
