Baku to host signing of energy cooperation agreements

Agreements on energy cooperation are set to be signed in Baku, where the 11th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) Advisory Council and the 3rd Green Energy Advisory Council Meeting will be held on Friday.

According to organizers, representatives from 24 countries, including Azerbaijan and the European Union, as well as 7 international financial institutions and 42 energy companies will take part in the event.

The meetings will focus on the operation and expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor, along with discussions on green energy and emerging energy corridors.

Ministerial-level talks between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, and Bulgaria will also be held to address green energy transmission and trade. In addition, an informal meeting of the Steering Committee of the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor is scheduled.

The event will conclude with the signing of several cooperation documents in the energy sector, followed by a press conference.
