The Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) has delivered more than 77.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas to Türkiye and Europe since commercial operations began, Saltuk Duzyol, CEO of TANAP A.Ş., said at ministerial meetings in Baku.

“TANAP is a vital segment of the Southern Gas Corridor and the longest and widest pipeline in the system,” Duzyol said. The pipeline has been in commercial operation since June 30, 2018, and entered its pilot phase on June 30, 2020, with annual supplies of 5.7 bcm.

Of the total volume, 32.2 bcm have been delivered to Türkiye, including 6 bcm under flexible delivery schedules.

Gas deliveries to Europe started on December 31, 2020, via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), with a pilot phase beginning on January 1, 2022. Since then, 45.38 bcm have been supplied to Europe, including 4.4 bcm under flexible nominations.
