Gates to donate bulk of fortune to Africa

Microsoft founder Bill Gates said he will donate the bulk of his fortune to support Africa through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
“Recently, I pledged to donate my wealth over the next 20 years. The main part of this funding will help you solve problems here in Africa,” Gates said at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, according to News 24.
Earlier this year, Gates announced the Foundation would allocate $200 billion to fund various projects by 2045.
Forbes ranks Gates as the world’s fifth-richest person, with a net worth of $175 billion.
