On Thursday, June 5, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation, according to the press service of the Armenian government.

The call took place at the initiative of the Armenian side.

Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish president on the occasion of Kurban Bayram. In return, Erdogan congratulated Pashinyan on the successful hosting of the European Political Community summit in Armenia, scheduled for the spring of 2026.

The two leaders discussed issues related to Armenian-Turkish relations and regional matters. They agreed to continue the ongoing dialogue.
