China’s Xi Jinping to visit Kazakhstan

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Kazakhstan on June 16–17 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kazakh presidential press service said on Tuesday.

During the visit, the two leaders will hold high-level bilateral talks focused on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan.

On June 17, Astana will also host the second “Central Asia–China” summit, bringing together heads of state from the region, the statement added.
