Azerbaijan’s central bank keeps key rate unchanged at 7%

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan left its key interest rate unchanged at 7%, maintaining the lower bound of the interest corridor at 6% and the upper bound at 8%, the bank said after today’s board meeting.

The decision was driven by stable inflation within the target range and continued macroeconomic balance. The regulator said the current monetary policy stance supports price stability.
