Gold and silver prices rise on global markets

Gold and silver prices increased on global commodity exchanges on Thursday.

December futures for gold rose 1.07% to $4,108.71 per troy ounce on the New York COMEX exchange.

Silver futures for December delivery climbed 1.03% to $48.17 per ounce.
