Azerbaijan’s refugee committee to receive no subsidy in 2026

Azerbaijan’s 2026 draft state budget does not allocate any subsidies to the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Report news agency said, citing the Chamber of Accounts’ opinion.

According to the document, subsidies are projected across eight functional areas next year, but unlike in 2025, no funds are planned under the “Social protection and welfare” category.
