Azerbaijan’s domestic card payments approach 10 bln manats in June

The volume of domestic cashless payments made by bank cards in Azerbaijan reached 9.902 billion manats in June 2026, the Central Bank said.

Of this amount, 1.325 billion manats was processed through POS terminals, while 2.5 million manats was carried out through self-service terminals and ATMs.

Since the beginning of the year, cashless transactions accounted for 69.8% of total domestic card operations.

Compared with July 1 last year, the number of ATMs in the payment networks of banks and Azerpost LLC rose by 4.4%, while the number of POS terminals increased by 16.9%.

The volume of domestic cashless transactions grew by 14.5% year on year in the first half of 2026.
