Turkey sets condition for normalising ties with Armenia

Turkey is ready to normalise diplomatic relations with Armenia once a peace agreement is signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Wednesday.

“When Azerbaijan and Armenia sign a peace deal, we will be ready to normalise relations with Armenia,” Fidan said.

He added that Ankara has repeatedly stated its position on relations with Yerevan and continues to follow the same policy line.
