Armenian President says peace with Baku depends on rebuilding trust
21.11.2025 17:30

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan said lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be possible once mutual trust between the two countries and their peoples is restored.

“Peace will come when trust between the two nations is rebuilt. This is a matter of time. As political leaders, we must ensure the political process and legal framework that will lead to such a situation,” Khachaturyan said.

He added that a bilateral legal process is already taking shape, and both countries have recognized each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
