Large batch of medicines seized on New Delhi–Baku flight

Customs officers at the State Customs Committee’s Air Transport Main Department have prevented an attempt to illegally import medicines into Azerbaijan.

Two foreign nationals arriving on the New Delhi–Baku flight were subjected to customs inspection, during which 72 undeclared oncology-related pharmaceutical products were found in their luggage and hand baggage.

An investigation is underway.
