More families return to Khojaly, Khojavend and Zangilan districts

As part of the phased resettlement programme to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, additional groups of former internally displaced persons have returned to the Khojaly, Khojavend and Zangilan districts.

At this stage, 20 families (83 people) are returning to Shushakand village and 12 families (50 people) to Khanyurdu village in the Khojaly district. Meanwhile, 37 families (169 people) are returning to the Gyrmyzy Bazar settlement in the Khojavend district, and 29 families (147 people) to Mammadbeyli village in the Zangilan district.

The families had previously been temporarily accommodated in dormitories, sanatoriums, children’s camps, unfinished buildings and administrative facilities across the country.
