Azerbaijan Confirms Completion of "Russian House" Liquidation Process

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that the liquidation process of the "Russian House" (the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo) in Baku has been finalized. The Minister confirmed that a technical team from Russia recently visited Azerbaijan to oversee the final legal steps.

"A group arrived from Russia to conclude the liquidation process, and this process is now finished," Bayramov stated. He emphasized that the closure was necessary because the entity’s previous activities did not comply with national legislation or bilateral interstate agreements. The Minister noted that any future presence must be established on the basis of mutual respect for sovereignty and strict adherence to Azerbaijani law, ensuring terms are equitable for both nations
