Azerbaijan rail operator switches to heightened operations amid adverse weather

Azerbaijan’s rail operator has switched to a heightened operating regime to ensure traffic safety amid unstable weather conditions across the country.

Train speeds are being adjusted in line with weather conditions, which may result in minor deviations from scheduled timetables, the operator said.

Passengers have been urged to remain cautious on platforms and to cross railway tracks only at designated crossings.
