Azerbaijan’s social protection fund budget up 9% in 2025

Azerbaijan’s State Social Protection Fund budget increased by 9%, or 629 million manats, year on year in 2025 to reach 7.5 billion manats, the fund’s chairman Zeka Mirzayev said.

He noted that the average monthly pension rose by 9% last year to 543 manats, including an increase in the average old-age pension to 578 manats.

The upward trend in pensions is expected to continue this year, he added.
