France does not envisage military intervention to support protesters in Iran, French Armed Forces junior minister Alice Ruffaut said.

She said Paris stands in solidarity with the Iranian people but does not view the use of force as an acceptable option.

“The Iranian people must overthrow this regime, and clearly we are on their side. Military intervention is not a preferred option for us,” Ruffaut said.
