Gas volumes transported via the Baku–Tbilisi–Erzurum (BTE) South Caucasus Pipeline increased by 103 million cubic metres in 2025 to reach 22.933 billion cubic metres, Georgia’s Oil and Gas Corporation said.

The figure is almost double the level recorded in 2020, when 11.1 billion cubic metres of gas were transported through the pipeline.

The South Caucasus Pipeline carries gas from Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz field to Turkey and onward to European markets, playing a key role in regional energy security.
