A herd of llamas prevented a theft attempt at a farm in Derbyshire, the United Kingdom, Metro reported.
The incident took place in the village of South Normanton. After dark, the farm owners heard loud cries from their llamas and went outside to investigate, finding a man surrounded by the animals.
According to one of the farmers, the eight llamas gathered around the intruder and began making sounds resembling laughter, effectively blocking his escape.
It later emerged that the man had attempted to steal several boxes of tobacco. The theft was thwarted thanks to the llamas’ intervention.
