Azerbaijan appoints new minister of ecology and natural resources

Rashad Ismayilov has been appointed minister of ecology and natural resources of Azerbaijan.

The appointment was made by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

Ismayilov was appointed first deputy minister of ecology and natural resources in 2024. Prior to that, he headed the apparatus of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture.
