US First Lady to preside over UN Security Council meeting on March 2

The rotating presidency of the UN Security Council will pass to the United States for a month starting March 1.
As Fox News noted, this will be the first time that the spouse of an American prime minister, or indeed any world leader, will preside over the UN Security Council.
Melania Trump is expected to deliver a speech at the upcoming UN Security Council meeting on the importance of education and awareness in ensuring global peace.
US Permanent Representative to the UN Mike Waltz also confirmed the First Lady's plans to address the Security Council. He said Melania Trump will "chair" the meeting.
