Qatar says it does not allow US to use its territory to attack Iran
Qatar has not allowed the United States to use its territory for strikes against Iran and uses its weapons solely for self-defense, Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed al-Khulaifi said it in an interview with Al Jazeera.
"No. Qatar has a very clear position on this issue," the diplomat said, responding to a journalist's direct question about whether Qatar had authorized attacks from its territory during the current conflict with Iran. "Qatar has never attacked and will never attack a neighboring state. For us, this is a matter of principle," the state minister noted.
