Armenian Parliament Ratifies Strategic Framework Agreement with US on TRIPP Project

Armenia’s parliament has ratified the framework agreement on strategic cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the United States regarding the TRIPP project. According to Armenian media reports, 63 lawmakers voted in favor of the measure, while 32 voted against, with no abstentions recorded.

The framework pact was initially initialed in May by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The ratified accord establishes the bilateral groundwork for strategic and infrastructure engagement between Washington and Yerevan under the regional initiative.
